Regional Anaesthesia has evolved as an inherent component of every day clinical anaesthesia practise, hence it has become prudent for every Anaesthesiologist to enrich and equip themselves with the established facets of Regional Anaesthesia .

AORA 2019 is truly a platform created to make this a definite possibility, with 30 International and over 180 Indian faculty AORA 2019 promises every delegate to experience "EVERYTHING ABOUT REGIONAL ANAESTHESIA".

The National executive committee along with the local organising committee is striving hard to make this meet a very meaningful one.

“Education is not the filling of a pot, but the lighting of a fire”. The torch that was lit in 2011 to disseminate pertinent advances in regional anaesthesia, glows brighter with each passing year. July 2019 in Coimbatore promises to unravel a true bonanza for advocates of regional anaesthesia. For the first time in the annals of AORA INDIA, over 1000 delegates from India, the far east, middle east and the African subcontinent, are being targeted for AORA INDIA 2019.

A satellite meeting in the serene and spiritual environs of Isha Yoga centre, on the outskirts of Coimbatore, will serve as an added attraction. Over 15 world leaders from abroad, in the field of regional anaesthesia, will lend substance and lustreto scientific deliberations. On behalf of the Executive committee and organising committee I have the honour of welcoming you all to the 9th National Conference of Academy of Regional Anaesthesia of India 2019, to be held in Coimbatore, India, called the Manchester of South India.

I am happy to invite you to AORA India 2019 in Coimbatore. Host of this great meeting is Ganga Hospial in Coimbatore and it's Department of Anaesthesia. The WFSA Education Committee and Dr Balavenkat Subramanian established the best educational program, the most prestigious WFSA Regional training center for Regional Anaesthesia there. Fellows from less affluent parts of Africa and Asia are receiving the best theoretical knowledge and 'state of the art’ hands-on training. When return to their countries, WFSA fellows are becoming the leaders in their profession, spread the knowledge, improve anaesthesia practice and the most important, they are enhancing the patient safety.
